The organic farm at Hope Farm is currently looking for volunteers! Partner with us to make local, seasonal, organic produce accessible to those in recovery and our community. We plant only NON-GMO crops and farming using natural sustainable farming methods. Volunteers are needed to assist us with preparing the soil, weeding, harvesting, and assisting with the job training program. School groups are welcome to tour our farm and learn about caring for the plants and animals which in turn care for us.
GMOs (or “genetically modified organisms”) are organisms whose genetic material has been artificially manipulated in a laboratory through genetic engineering, or GE. This relatively new science creates unstable combinations of plant, animal, bacteria and viral genes that do not occur in nature or through traditional crossbreeding methods
The Healthy Youth Program will offer school group tours of the farm, with nature hike and STEM activities.
We Would Love to Have You Visit Soon! Please make an appointment as we are located behind the enlightened solutions treatment center.
